Upon meeting your guide at your hotel, you'll embark on a comfortable journey to the starting point of the trekking route within the Ile-Alatau National Park. Initially ascending via cable car, we'll then trek along a path leading to the nearest ridge. Progressing through the forest, we'll reach a small pass offering a panoramic view of Boukreev Peak. A brief stop at this vantage point provides an opportunity to refresh with water and snacks.
Continuing along the ridge, the trail gradually gains altitude. Within 40 minutes, we'll reach the next stopping point, affording splendid views of expansive rocky peaks, glaciers, and the Ile Alatau's highest point, Talgar Peak (5017 m a.s.l.). Following a snack and rest, you'll summon your last reserves of energy for the final ascent to the peak. This segment is the most demanding and time-consuming, involving a continuous uphill trail.
Upon reaching the summit, you'll be greeted by breathtaking vistas of snow-capped peaks and regional glaciers, including Nursultan Peak, Fiskulturnik Peak, and Til Glacier. Enjoy a leisurely hour to rest, savor a meal, and relish the panoramic views. The descent begins along another ridge, leading to a narrow gorge beside a creek, offering the chance to replenish your supply of fresh mountain water. The total hiking distance is about 17 km (10.6 mi). As the trek concludes, you'll be transported back to your hotel.
