Tour Pricing Options

The prices for this tour are based on the Standard tariff, which includes reliable tourist transport in good condition, the services of an experienced guide and driver, and meals.

In addition to the Standard tariff, we offer the following options:

  • Economy: We provide lower-class vehicles for transfers, and accommodations consist of more budget-friendly hotels and guesthouses. This option is ideal for tourists looking to minimize costs.

Note: Be cautious of companies that misrepresent their Economy tariff as Standard. These companies may offer lower-priced tours with poor service quality, such as outdated vehicles and inexperienced guides. They might also operate illegally and neglect essential safety standards.

  • Comfort: This option features high-comfort vehicles in excellent condition, with the most experienced guides accompanying tourists. Tourists stay in high-class hotels.
  • VIP: Luxury transport is provided, and guests stay in upscale hotels. Premium services are offered throughout the entire trip.

If you wish to adjust your tariff, please inform your manager before booking the tour.

Mausoleum of Aisha Bibi

The Mausoleum of Aisha Bibi is situated in the village of the same name near Taraz. It was built in the 12th century during the flourishing Karakhanid era. Its design features terracotta tiles, crafted on-site by ancient artisans and secured with special wedges. For added stability, the walls were constructed in three layers, incorporating clay, tile fragments, and juniper wood. Remarkably, an inscription in Arabic script using the Kufic style has been preserved on one of the exterior walls.

Akyrtas Archaeological Site

Akyrtas remains a mystery. Archaeologists and scholars continue to debate the true purpose of this ancient structure. Some believe it was a Buddhist temple, while others argue it may have been a Nestorian monastery. Another theory suggests it was an Arab palace built in the 8th century by order of Qutayba ibn Muslim, the commander of the Arab army during the conquest of Transoxiana. Supporting this theory is the discovery of the remains of a mosque at the site.

Tekturmas Mausoleum

The Tekturmas Mausoleum is one of Taraz's most iconic landmarks. It was built over the grave of Sultan Mahmud Khan, the commander-in-chief of the Karakhan army. Although the original mausoleum was destroyed in 1935, a new structure was later reconstructed based on historical records. The mausoleum is designed in the classic style of early Islamic architecture, featuring a square brick chamber, one large dome, four smaller domes, and pointed niches. Tekturmas features underground passages, which, according to legend, connect to the ancient shakhristan of Taraz. While these tunnels are currently closed, there is hope they may reopen to tourists in the future.
