Resorts on the northeastern shore of Lake Alakol

Lake Alakol, located in Eastern Kazakhstan, served as a refuge for Soviet cosmonauts seeking respite from the adverse effects of cosmic radiation. After enduring lengthy space missions, these astronauts were granted the privilege of visiting the balneological paradise that awaited them on its shores.
