Central Park of Semey
Central Park in Semey offers a variety of entertainment options for children, including rides, a playground, trampolines, swings, children’s cars for rent, and an entertainment center. Adults can stroll through the park's pathways, relax on benches or in gazebos, and unwind while watching the fountain. Families can bring their own food for a pleasant picnic in comfortable gazebos, or choose to dine at one of the affordable cafes on-site. Don't forget to treat your kids to cotton candy and ice cream.
Central Park also features the Tarzan rope town, the Kletka nightclub, a workout area, an open-air stage, a shooting range, a 4D cinema, and more. There is even a designated area for those who enjoy riding scooters or skateboards. Visitors can also explore various shops within the park to purchase toys and souvenirs. Notable landmarks in the park include a monument dedicated to the renowned Kazakh writer Shakarim Kudaiberdiev, as well as an obelisk honoring those who sacrificed their lives for the establishment of Soviet power in Semey.
Despite a recent reconstruction in 2021 that involved significant investment, some residents were dissatisfied with the park's updated appearance upon reopening. Nevertheless, Central Park remains a cherished oasis where individuals can escape the city's hustle and bustle, and where children can have a memorable time.
