Imanaevsky Spring

Imanaevsky Spring cascades down from the mountains, forming a picturesque waterfall with a height of 2 meters (6.6 ft). Originating in the mountains, the spring stretches over 8 kilometers (5 mi) in length. Its waters meander through the Grove of Dancing Birches before eventually flowing into Lake Borovoe. Caution is advised regarding drinking from the spring due to its high iodine and iron content.

The best time to visit the area is from mid-spring through mid-autumn. Winter blankets the stream in ice, while spring sees a surge in water flow. Summer and autumn offer particularly stunning vistas, with clean air and the tranquil symphony of water and rustling trees. Above the spring, a bicycle path provides a scenic route, and there are designated areas for capturing memorable photo sessions.

How to get there?

Imanaevsky Spring is located 7 kilometers (4 mi) from the village of Burabay. It’s accessible by car along the road leading from the village. The journey from the Glade of Abylai Khan to the spring spans a mere 1.5 kilometers (0.6 mi). Bicycle and pedestrian paths offer routes to reach the spring.
