Kapshagay Water Park
The water park in Konayev (formerly Kapshagay) features several open-air swimming pools, including two built to Olympic standards. For adults, there is a pool 1-2 meters deep with a waterfall and a jacuzzi. Children can enjoy two shallow pools with fountains and plastic slides. The 20-meter high Shivoli slide is particularly popular.
To ensure the water is clean and safe, eighteen pumping and filtering units work around the clock to purify the water, with regular chlorination to eliminate any harmful bacteria. At least two lifeguards are always present at the adult pools and six at the children's pools.
The water park operates seven days a week from 9:00 am to 8:00 pm. Once you purchase a ticket, you can enjoy the park's amenities and swim in all the pools for the entire day. Keep in mind that the park is only open during the summer season due to its open-air design.
