Tabagan Ski Resort
Tabagan Ski Resort, established in 2006, has become a premier destination for winter sports enthusiasts. The resort has been the proud host of freestyle skiing competitions as part of the Snowboard and Extreme Sports Federation Cup, the 7th Asian Winter Games, and the 2017 Winter Universiade.
The name "Tabagan" is derived from the English word "toboggan" and is also reminiscent of the Kazakh word "tabigat," meaning nature.
Tabagan caters to both seasoned professionals and beginners alike. It offers six trails – three easy and three difficult – spanning a length of 37 km (23 mi). The resort features two T-bar lifts and one chairlift for the convenience of visitors.
In the summer months, Tabagan transforms into a hub of outdoor activities, including grass slide skiing, horseback riding, mountain biking, paragliding, paintball, a climbing wall, tennis and volleyball courts. Additionally, guests can enjoy the Aqualandia water and recreation complex, complete with swimming pools, a sauna, solarium, jacuzzi, gym, and more.
