Almaty Racecourse
The Almaty Racecourse, established in 1930, spans across a 40-hectare expanse. Its grandstands can accommodate up to 3,000 spectators, while the VIP tribune offers exclusive seating for up to 100 individuals. Within its precincts, the horse yard houses an impressive collection of 300 horses.
The racecourse also boasts a hotel, a cafe, a paddock, and a fully equipped riding school that caters to both equestrian sports enthusiasts and those seeking the therapeutic benefits of hippotherapy.
From May to October, the venue hosts horse races. It features two tracks, measuring 1600 and 2000 meters, respectively. Furthermore, it serves as a hub for various championships and tournaments. Notably, it provides facilities for kokpar (a traditional Kazakh equestrian sport) and polo.
