Big Almaty Gorge

How to get there?
A well-maintained asphalt road provides easy access from Almaty to the Big Almaty Gorge. Begin your journey by following Dulati Avenue and continue along Alma-Arasan Street, passing the Ayusai Gorge along the course of the Big Almaty River (Bolshaya Almatinka River). Alternatively, you can take Bus #28, which will take you to the final stop, "Alma-Arasan." From there, a short walk will lead you to the gorge.
