Сentral Stadium

The Central Stadium in Almaty was completed in 1975. Initially, it featured stands with a capacity of 30 thousand seats and a spacious sports field. Today, the stadium boasts large and small arenas, football fields, running tracks, and diverse sports sections. It has become a hub for professional athletes who frequently train here, as well as a venue for sports events and competitions of all levels.

Notably, in 2009, a cutting-edge football field, measuring 105x80 meters, was constructed, earning recognition as the finest not only in Kazakhstan but also across Central Asia. This field blends 25% artificial yarn with 75% natural grass, extending the lifespan of the playing surface. The stadium's running tracks, crafted from top-tier material, are another source of pride, alongside its modern photo processing system and time sensors.

In September 2011, the Central Stadium received a special certificate from the International Association of Athletics Associations (IAAF), allowing it to host international athletics competitions.

The Central Stadium caters to a broad audience. It houses schools for a variety of martial arts, gymnastics, mountaineering, judo, shaping, and more. For fans of the Almaty football club Kairat, there is a store where you can purchase team merch.

It's worth noting that the West Stand is considered the prime seating area due to its protective canopy, offering shelter from adverse weather conditions or harsh sunlight.
