Almaty Business District
Almaty is Kazakhstan’s leading financial and business hub, attracting entrepreneurs, investors, and professionals from across the region and beyond. The city’s main business district stretches along Al-Farabi Avenue. There, the headquarters of major banks and international companies stand alongside luxury hotels, modern office towers, and prestigious residential complexes.
One of the district’s most recognizable landmarks is Esentai Tower, a skyscraper rising more than 160 meters above the city. The tower forms part of the Esentai Park complex, which also includes the Ritz-Carlton Hotel, Esentai Mall, luxury residences, and the offices of numerous international companies.
Another symbol of modern Almaty is Nurly Tau, a cluster of glass-clad high-rises that houses corporate offices, banks, restaurants, etc. Nearby are the Almaty Museum of Arts and Almaty Theatre, two of the city’s most notable contemporary cultural venues.
Adjacent to Nurly Tau stands AFD Plaza, a mixed-use residential and business complex. Across the street, construction is underway on Almaty Business Park, the city’s first Class A+ business center. In addition to premium office space, the project will feature landscaped terraces, an underground shopping gallery, restaurants, fitness facilities, and other elements of a modern live-work environment.
