Mahatma Gandhi Park

Mahatma Gandhi Park, named in honor of the eminent Indian politician and social activist, offers a setting for leisurely walks, jogs, and engaging in various sports activities. This green oasis provides a range of amenities to cater to different interests and preferences.

The park features a café, a dog walking area, a cycling zone, and playgrounds for children. Gazebos provide shaded spots for relaxation and picnics, while workout zones offer fitness enthusiasts the opportunity to engage in physical exercise. Additionally, a convenient fast food kiosk and a bookcrossing area enhance the overall experience.

A significant feature of the park is the monument dedicated to Mahatma Gandhi. Crafted by the sculptor Gautam Pal, who also designed the Moscow monument to Gandhi, it stands as a tribute to the remarkable life and ideals of this iconic figure. The monument's pedestal bears the years of Gandhi's life and showcases his sayings, inspiring all who visit.
