Monument to the Beatles
The Beatles monument in Kok-Tobe Park, Almaty, has been a popular destination since its unveiling in 2007. The bronze sculptures of all four band members – John Lennon seated with a guitar, and Paul McCartney, Ringo Starr, and George Harrison standing behind him – are set against a backdrop of the group's best songs and a breathtaking panoramic view of the city.
There is one more monument to The Beatles in Kazakhstan. It’s located on the so-called Arbat Street in Astana.

How to get there?
To reach Kok-Tobe Park, visitors can choose from several convenient transportation options. Driving or taking a taxi, although scenic with its winding route, is one option. Another option is to take bus #95 or 99. However, the most popular mode of transportation is the cable car. The cable car station is located on Dostyk Ave., 104 B, and can be easily accessed by taking buses 5, 5A, 5b, 12, 29, 29R, 48, 121, or 141, getting off at the «Arman Cinema» or «Palace of the Republic» stop, which is just 300 meters (328 yd) from the cable car station. The Abay subway station is also nearby, located about 900 meters (984 yd) from the cable car station.
