St. Zinovy Church

The St. Zinovy Church was built to honor the holy martyr Zinovy Sogrinsky and was consecrated in 2002. Three years later, in 2005, Metropolitan Methodius of Astana and Almaty consecrated the church.

Inside, you can find several relics, including an icon with holy relics of Metropolitan Nicholas, St. Innocent (Metropolitan of Moscow), Hieromartyr Vladimir, and Archpriest Lepsinsky.

The church hosts regular services on Sundays and religious holidays, with one important holiday being January 23, the day of remembrance of the holy martyr Zinovy Sogrinsky. Throughout the week, prayers and readings of akathists are held here.

From the outside, the church is a beautiful brick-colored building with five domes. It's a true masterpiece of construction art and national culture. It’s definitely worth a visit when in Ust-Kamenogorsk.
