Round Square
Round Square, situated in the heart of Astana, is an architectural complex that connects Nurzhol Boulevard and Kabanbai Batyr Avenue. Comprising two levels, this vibrant square is a hub of activity and a testament to modern design.
The first level of Round Square serves as the culmination point of Nurzhol Boulevard, offering a gateway to the nearby Park of Lovers and the Khan Shatyr Shopping and Entertainment Center. At the center of the square, a small fountain takes center stage, enveloped by benches, flower beds, and architectural elements. Numerous dining options, including restaurants, a banquet hall, a coffee shop, a restobar, and even a nightclub, encircle the fountain. During the warmer months, these establishments extend their services to include terraces.
Ascending to the second level reveals a bustling road bridge that runs parallel to Kabanbai Batyr Avenue. The pedestrian zone adjacent to the bridge offers a serene respite from the vibrant traffic below. Along this level, one can find a range of amenities, including banks, a supermarket, a cafe, a beauty salon, as well as insurance and trading companies. Standing within the semicircular formation of buildings is a prominent structure housing the Ministry of Energy and the Anti-Corruption Agency of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

You can get to the Round Square by buses #10, 12, 21, 28, 29, 29A, 35, and 70 («Dinmukhamed Kunayev St.» bus stop), buses # 30 and 56 («Nur Astana Mosque» bus stop), or buses #300, 305, 308, 309, and 312 («Asia Park Shopping Mall» bus stop).
