Shabyt University of the Arts

The Shabyt University of the Arts, also known as Shabyt Palace of Creativity, is an architectural masterpiece that can be described as big, blue, and incredibly fancy. This futuristic building immediately captures attention with its unique design. Resembling a cone with its top cut off, it stands out as an artistic marvel. The architects' vision for the building was to represent a crater teeming with creative ideas, and they have certainly achieved that.

At the heart of the structure lies an oval hall, serving as the focal point around which all the other rooms are arranged. With variable numbers of floors, the building reaches its pinnacle on the seventh level. Its facade is adorned with sleek metal glazed frames.

The university houses seven faculties dedicated to various artistic disciplines such as cinema, television, pop singing, theater, directing, painting, and sculpture, among others. The university takes great pride in its graduates, many of whom have achieved fame. One such illustrious alumnus is the renowned singer Dimash Kudaibergen, whose work resonates with audiences worldwide.

Inside the building, a vibrant atmosphere of creativity permeates every corner. A choreography hall, cinematography and performing arts school, photo studios, filming pavilions, sports facilities, gyms, exhibition complexes, and creative unions for journalists, architects, and designers provide ample resources for exploration and innovation.

The ground floor is home to two concert halls, one large and the other more intimate, accommodating audiences of 4,500 and 400 respectively. These grand venues not only showcase student performances but also host concerts by acclaimed foreign artists and creative ensembles.

During the summer break, when students embark on their vacations, the university opens its doors to a myriad of events. Conferences, exhibitions, lectures, and international festivals centered around art and culture find a welcoming space within its walls.
