Monument to Batyrkhan Shukenov
A monument to Batyrkhan Shukenov, the former frontman of the A-Studio band, has been erected in Kyzylorda, his hometown. It is located in one of the parks near the Schoolchildren's Palace. The bronze sculpture stands at a height of 2.2 meters (6.6 ft), mounted on a pedestal. The project's creator, M. Mansurov, drew inspiration from Shukenov's portrayal in the music video for the song "Otan-Ana." The singer is depicted holding a saxophone, standing on one knee, with his gaze directed towards the sky. The choice of location for the monument holds significance, as the Schoolchildren's Palace played a pivotal role in Batyrkhan's musical journey.
