Myrzashoky Ski Resort

Myrzashoky Ski Resort is situated in the Pavlodar region, within the boundaries of the Bayanaul National Park. It’s a haven for skiing and snowboarding enthusiasts seeking the thrill of snowy slopes. For those less adept at winter sports, skilled instructors are available for hire to facilitate learning. Additionally, visitors can partake in leisurely horseback rides or opt for a hiking tour amidst the crisp mountain air.

The resort offers a 900-meter-long cable car, featuring chair lifts for convenient ascension. The ski slope spans approximately 1.2 kilometers (0.6 mi). The resort often faces difficulties due to insufficient natural snowfall, necessitating the regular use of artificial snow.

Facilities within the resort area include a canteen, teahouse, and warming huts. However, overnight accommodations are not available on-site. Visitors have the option of lodging in Bayanaul, 20 kilometers (12 mi) away, or arranging stays with residents of nearby Karazhar village. Accommodations in Bayanaul or guest houses by Lake Jasybay offer opportunities for extended stays amidst stunning natural landscapes, including coniferous forests and azure lakes. Booking accommodations in advance is advisable.

Future plans for the resort include the construction of a two-story hotel and approximately 10 log cabins to enhance lodging options.
