Jailaukol Park
In 2016, Shymkent added a new gem to its landscape with the opening of Jaylaukol Park, which has grown around Lake Tulpar. The park's main highlight is the Shymkent Altyn Eye Ferris wheel, towering 50 meters high – equivalent to a 20-story building. The Ferris wheel is equipped with transparent, climate-controlled cabins, allowing it to operate throughout the year. The wheel’s rotation lasts 15 minutes.
Jaylaukol Park also features a variety of other attractions, including an open-air cinema, go-karting, a climbing wall, and a shooting range. Visitors can also enjoy leisurely walks around the lake or explore the waters by boat or catamaran.
How to get there?
Jaylaukol Park is located in the Nursat microdistrict, in the northern part of Shymkent. The nearest bus stops are "Zoo" and "Nauryz Square." You can get there by buses #17, 52, 66, 75, 103, 126, 150, 171, and 171a.
