ShymCity Park

Shymkent is rapidly expanding northward, with new areas steadily being developed and inhabited. In 2024, a new park was opened in the ShymCity microdistrict, around which residential buildings are soon to rise.

At the heart of the park lies an artificial lake, its surface animated by illuminated fountains each evening. An amphitheater near the lake hosts performances by ensembles and orchestras. The banks, lined with reeds, evoke the charm of a natural reservoir.

The park offers a variety of playgrounds, each uniquely designed to spark children's imagination. From sandy playgrounds to wooden houses and hanging bridges, there's something for every child. The park also includes a dedicated area for children with disabilities. For those who enjoy physical activity, 19 sports facilities are available. Additionally, the park features barbecue areas, chess gazebos, swing benches, a skateboarding area, and courts for basketball and volleyballПарк ShymCity

True to the essence of a park, ShymCity has planted 5,000 seedlings and 7,000 flowers. As the trees mature, the park's beauty will only deepen.

Adjacent to the park are the Tulip Hall concert hall, a sports arena, and an IT university. In no time, the surroundings of the park will transform into a modern, vibrant neighborhood, making it a great place to live.

How to get there?

The park is situated in the emerging ShymCity microdistrict in the northern part of the city. As the area is still under development, public transportation options are limited. You can reach the park by bus #52. The closest bus stop is "Novostroyka."

If you're driving, head north on Baidibek Bi Avenue. Just before reaching the Otau Mart shopping center, turn left onto Alatau Batyr Street. The park will soon appear on your right.
