Kazakhstan to Extend Visa-Free Stay for Turkish Citizens to 90 Days

The Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Kazakhstan has proposed amendments to the country’s entry regulations, allowing Turkish citizens to stay in Kazakhstan without a visa for up to 90 days within any 180-day period.

At present, the visa-free stay is limited to 30 days. The proposed changes aim to align Kazakhstan’s rules with those of Turkey, where Kazakh citizens have been able to stay visa-free for up to 90 days in a 180-day period since 2018.

The draft resolution is currently open for public consultation. Final approval is expected in the near future.
