Muse Release Music Video Filmed in Kazakhstan
British rock band Muse has released the official music video for Nightshift Superstar, a new single from the band's upcoming album The Wow! Signal. The video has attracted particular attention in Kazakhstan, as it was filmed in Almaty.
One of the featured locations is the Military History Museum, also known as the House of Officers, located at 24 Zenkov Street. The landmark building appears at the 1:09 mark of the video. Filming took place in late May 2026, although the members of Muse themselves did not travel to Kazakhstan.
The project was produced by directing studio REFLECTOЯUM in collaboration with Kazakhstani production company Anykey. A large team of local actors, dancers, makeup artists, and creative professionals contributed to the shoot.
The video was directed and written by Lado Kvataniya, with Vladimir Ushakov serving as director of photography and Konstantin Koval responsible for choreography.
In the closing credits, Muse thanked several Almaty-based venues and organizations that supported the production, including the Almaty Museum of Arts.
Nightshift Superstar is one of the singles from The Wow! Signal, Muse's upcoming album scheduled for release on June 26. The record will mark the band's first full-length studio album since Will of the People, released in 2022.
