Chinese Tourists Can Now Pay in Kazakhstan via WeChat QR / 哈萨克斯坦开通微信支付 中国游客扫码畅游

Paying in Kazakhstan just got easier for Chinese tourists. Halyk Bank has launched support for WeChat Pay – one of China’s most widely used payment services. Now visitors can make purchases using a universal QR code, scanned directly in the WeChat app.

The service is already active in stores equipped with Halyk POS terminals. The process is fast and familiar: open WeChat Pay, scan the QR code, confirm – done. All payments are processed securely and instantly via Halyk Bank’s system.

“Our goal is to make life easier for Chinese tourists by offering a convenient and trusted payment option,” the bank said.

WeChat Pay is a major player in China's digital payment ecosystem, with over 900 million monthly active users as of 2023.

中国游客在哈萨克斯坦的支付体验迎来升级。该国Halyk银行宣布正式接入微信支付——这一中国主流移动支付平台。现在游客只需通过微信扫描通用二维码，即可轻松完成消费。

目前所有配备Halyk POS终端的商户均已支持该服务。支付流程快捷顺畅：打开微信支付→扫码→确认→三步完成。所有交易均通过Halyk银行系统实现安全实时处理。

银行负责人表示："我们希望通过提供便捷可靠的支付选择，为中国游客创造更顺畅的旅行体验。"作为中国数字支付领域的巨头，微信支付截至2023年月活跃用户已突破9亿。
